I have been working at Aga Khan University

    Pros

    Selg contained environment. Learning experience.

    Cons

Good working environment. Office politics quite ingrained. Standards going down continuously. Quite a few incompetent people have found their way in. Difficult to work and move ahead in some areas based on competencies alone.

I have been working at Aga Khan University full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

working for this organisation is just like to be in front of my family members, As the policies are predefined of all staffs regarding their field of specialties, so one can work independently without any unusual interference. Coordination and cooperation for a team work are essential and I proud to be part of this organization where team work is basic step to flourish.

    Cons

As I mention we work as a TEAM WORK, and discussing over general concerned issues and to solve with coordination and cooperation to each other, effective and responsive communication among the staff and departments is the culture of this organization. But the flaw is in the employee's benefit and its growth. Employee's promotion or personal growth process is almost stopped.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

A honest suggestion to management will always be to vast hearten for its employees regarding their benefits and promotions. a bit disappointment not to fulfill the needs or suggestions from employees.
