Pros
Great people who really "get it"
Good client list
Friendly staff
Cons
Hadn't done any big web builds in a long time - more work was on their online ads
Staff turnover
Structure of roles means account directors and below are not expected to do any strategic thinking
Advice to Senior Management
Make sure some of the more aggressive personalities aren't a turn-off for everyone else...including clients
Pros
The people, and the support given by management to foster creativity
Cons
some degree of favoritism, not having a choice of projects to work on at times
Advice to Senior Management
Better communication across the network
Pros
If you have low intelligence, minimal creative talent and/or very little idea of what you're doing - or, worse, truly believe yourself to be competent based on a general ignorance of just how incompetent you are when compared to counterparts who work at decent ATL shops, then Agency.com is the right place for you. No-one will notice your lack of ability or experience and you will not be exposed to anything which is likely to change, or challenge that.
Cons
For anybody with brains, talent and genuine ability it is a soul destroying place or somewhere to go to die.
Advice to Senior Management
It's not possible to advise people who have no understanding whatsoever of just how ignorant and amateur they are. Quit and try and beg a placement job in a top ten ad agency, perhaps? At least it's a start.
