Genomics division is a toxic work environment with high turnover rate
Antiquated IT systems require too much time to accomplish simple tasks

1. Remove Genomics General Manager to improve employee morale and restore productivity
2. Modify quarterly/semi-annual management survey to ask questions that actually assess managers' effectiveness and employee's engagement.

Pros

Excellent team of high performing people, with whom it is a pleasure to work.
Promotional opportunities come to those who really perform in their jobs. It's not about who you know it's about your business results.

From others I have spoken with who work for large companies I think life at Agilent stacks up well as a company.

Continue with the great work. Driving for customer satisfaction is driving business results. Please continue to look for business expansion possibilities.

Pros

Agilent is a great place to work if you like a bottoms up approach to work. The work environment is very positive and there is a great respect for your life outside of the company. It's one of the best work environments I've experienced.

Agilent has not kept pace with raises.
