Agilent labs has good scientist doing interesting work
Good benefits

Cons – Genomics division is a toxic work environment with high turnover rate
Antiquated IT systems require too much time to accomplish simple tasks

Advice to Senior Management – 1. Remove Genomics General Manager to improve employee morale and restore productivity
2. Modify quarterly/semi-annual management survey to ask questions that actually assess managers' effectiveness and employee's engagement.

Pros – Agilent is a great place to work if you like a bottoms up approach to work. The work environment is very positive and there is a great respect for your life outside of the company. It's one of the best work environments I've experienced.

Cons – Agilent has not kept pace with raises.

Pros – Great people, cool technology, good work live balance. I worked in the central laboratories so my opinion may be biased high as this was a more academic environment.

Cons – Found some of the employees to be very competitive and found opportunties for advancement to be few and far between.

Advice to Senior Management – Keep up the good work and continue to invest in obtaining the brightest folks here in the united states and capitalize on your intellectual capital

Pros – Agilent Technologies offered me my only job. Also Agilent is a big company in my area, it is a good opportunity to learn stuff.

Cons – The salaray at Agilent is relatively low compared to other major companies. The salary increase is very slow as well.

Advice to Senior Management – Increase the salary, increase the bonus level. The salary should consider inflation.

Cons – no growth at all. my boss don't want to get higher and so above... so everyone remain same for last 4 years

Pros – Good people and talent there. Lots of resource both hardware and software readily available. Everybody work hard with long hours spent at work is a plus. I don't have to wait for people to show up tomorrow because they left the office at 4 pm.

Cons – It was a good company to work with. When it still has HP open door policy. But it turned into outsourcing company

Advice to Senior Management – Stop shipping technical work to oversea. You need the top mind and talent here in the US to continue Agilent inovation
