    Great place to work.

    Intern (Current Employee) Allentown, PA

ProsEveryone seems to be very nice no matter what department. There is alot of room to move around the company. You can easily spend your entire career here.

ConsI would say that the only con is that there is a lot of traveling for some jobs if you don't like that.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep up the good work.

    Good Solid Employer

    Manager (Current Employee) Allentown, PA

ProsGreat culture surrounding work life balance and diversity and inclusiveness. Even at the most senior level managers are accessible and have an open door policy. MBA rotational program affords the opportunity to network and gain experiences across departments, functions and business areas.

ConsMatriculation process is slow. Culture is based upon years in role as opposed to skill set and potential. Company is very conservative and steeped in traditional thoughts and values. This presents challenges in the ever changing business and social environments.

Advice to Senior ManagementOpportunities need to be created with adequate compensation in order to attract AND maintain top talent.

    – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Good place to work if you're geographically tied to Eastern, PA - otherwise there are much better companies

Lead Machinery Engineer (Former Employee) Allentown, PA

ProsLehigh Valley is losing its "Pennsyltucky" feel and has developed in to an OK place to live in the NE. APCI is great place to get early experience and move on.

ConsAPCI businesses are highly competitive and relatively low dollar, causing downward pressure on wages and benefits. There is a select "good old boy" network alive and well for those who do get the big jobs and perks. Most of the population attended a handful of PA schools, so it has a distinct fraternity feeling in the management ranks. Fortunately, it has been broken up by hiring Seifi Ghasemi, an outsider.

Advice to Senior ManagementGood Luck with Seifi......bwhahahaha

No intention on leaving but hope for positive changes

Financial Analyst (Current Employee) Allentown, PA

ProsGreat people work here who are very knowledgeable. There is a positive energy when dealing with the businesses

ConsAlmost too competitive among employess with too much politics.

Advice to Senior ManagementManagement encourages you to not have the mindset of 'this is the way it has always been done', but is so reluctant to make changes. When changes take too long to make, the momentum dies.
