Pros
air conditioned environment, but to take you to airport from parking lot, that´s about it..
Cons
everything else is very difficult, co-workers are very difficult people to ge along with including managers if you think they are managing at all
Advice to Senior Management
i don´t want to spend my precious time telling them advice....good luck
Pros
All lobby agents treat each other like family
Cons
Poor management. Said they will adapt to your school schedule but does not. Even if given notice to take time off of work, they will call on that day and insist you on coming in. Did not get offered health insurance until a year after hire when told you will get insurance after 90 days.
Pros
pay is ok, opportunity to meet many interesting people
Cons
complete lack of ethics by upper management
Pros
they pay an ok salary
Cons
Benefit packages can be expensive
Advice to Senior Management
none
Pros
if your a self starter nothing better
Cons
if your not a self starter bad job for you
Advice to Senior Management
daily calls with check list would help them be reminded of needs at front line
Pros
Get to meet many interesting people that are traveling all over the world, as well as people from different cultures.
Cons
Demotes employees that are hard working from positions where they can get tips to positions where they get paid the same and can't get tips.
Advice to Senior Management
Don't demote a hard working employee by taking them from a minimum wage plus tips position to a minimum wage only position.
Pros
We compensate better than other companies in our industry.
Cons
CEO is very derogatory and insulting. He feels better when he can rage on someone. There will be a mass exodus once the job market bounces back.
Advice to Senior Management
Management needs to learn how to coach and lead; not insult and direct. Extreme micromanagement.
Pros
Dynamic
Never routine
Keeps you on your toes
Customer Service is baseline
Always work for your people - then they'll work for you.
Cons
Long hours - dedication
Not very predictable
Compensation/benefits are under developed - new company..
Advice to Senior Management
Create more incentives for your layman workers to perform at their optimum level.
Recruit only agressive customer service oriented people for the manual labor and listen to the advice of people fresh out of school enlisted in daily operations.
