    Pros

Good support team and proactive management. Very focused on narrow product niche. Has a global perspective.

    Cons

They are a relatively small player in their industry and don't show many signs of changing that significantly. Not much room for career advancement in such a small firm. Limited resources.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you want to grow the US market, bring more focus on products meeting US requirements

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Communicate more with all the employees, organize some events for the employees to enable discussion, take advantage of the work place

    Pros

Subsidized cafeteria (although food is very fattening).
Cheap flights (if you get on board).

    Cons

Wirklich schockierend. Überstunden SIND freiwillig.

No real company culture, which results in self-managed teams working in various and often opposite directions due to the lack of clear common goal.
Salaries are way below industry average compensation.
Training opportunities are non-existent apart from the occasional language class.
No real management. Top managers are far from reality and think they're the best no matter what. They make no effort to keep the company's position on the market (happy days for the competition I guess).
Confidentiality is mission impossible. Whatever you say to HR will be communicated to other people in the company. You'll eventually hear your story from a colleague in a foreign office (this happened to me, lawyer's working on it at the moment).
Line managers will use threat to get you to work overtime. This is illegal of course but perfectly accepted by HR and workers committee. Shocking really. Overtime IS voluntary.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

One man, one word, one goal.
Management is a science, not a piece of improvisation.
Hire managers who can actually do the job.
Hire people based on something else than standard personality tests that are NOT relevant.

    Pros

Great friendships built with some colleagues. Perks are OK and love travelling for work. The office is nice and modern and subsidised food is always great!

    Cons

Lack of solid management and many legacy roles are filled with inadequate talent. It can be incredibly frustrating to work with most managers as they often can't direct or inspire. Getting anything done quickly is nigh on impossible!!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

A strong leadership direction is needed to shift office culture. The turnover rate would be reduced if there was more communication and benefits that are on par with the industry standard.

Enough challenges aside from daily business, good opportunities and support for personal development. Good secondary benefits.
