    Long term employee. Company was stable off and on. Loved the people, which is why I stayed so long.

    ProsGood people. Good technology (at the time), Lots of travel.

    ConsMany financial problems. Always seemed like we were on the brink of BK. Purchased by GDI. Took them over a year to figure out what to do with us. When they finally did, they promptly layed of 4 of their most senior people. (I was one of them)

    Advice to Senior ManagementDo not get rid of the people that help build a small business.

    Challenging and exciting work, but management and HR leave much to be desired.

    Expected to pay for work expenses up front.

    Advice to Senior ManagementTreating and communicating with employees in the field more effectively. Often did not know what project a crew was on or how long we had been out in the field. Pay your employees expenses and per diem in a timely fashion (one month at the latest). Invest in company credit cards to field crew does not have to front the company money and wait to be reimbursed. Understand what your employees are doing if they are on contract to another company. Salary did not meet with working conditions as contract work was more labor intensive and required more management then your traditional field roles.
