Pros – - Relatively small production team means every individual is important
- Opportunities to broaden your skill set if you choose
- Lots of talent
- Friendly environment and staff
- Ping-pong, foosball, coffee, weekly donuts, bi-weekly beer & ice cream

Cons – - The studio's only shipped title so far was lackluster, at least in part due to internal mistakes
- The studio has yet to prove that it is capable of good game design
- Weak communication, though it shows signs of improvement
- Weak scheduling, though it shows signs of improvement

Advice to Senior Management – 1) Have a clear vision for your game
2) Have a realistic plan to achieve that vision
3) Clearly communicate 1&2 to your team
4) Update your team regularly with any changes to 1&2
5) Don't underestimate what I mean by "clear." I mean both "specific" and "comprehensive"

Pros – The projects are amazing and in such a collaborative environment everyone has a sense of ownership. The people are great too.

Cons – Like at any game developer crunch time can be both long and intense.

Advice to Senior Management – You're doing good. You have our respect. We know you care about us - so I think you can a learn a bit from our first project and reduce the amount of crunch time we put ourselves through on the next.
