Pros
Competent and professional office staff, they are usually helpful
Provided some good job opportunities
Offered some good career development resources
Have a lot of flexibility
easy to work with
Cons
Sometimes there was poor communication about changes in my job
Account managers didn't always have accurate knowledge about clients or the clients' needs.
Benefits are not very good.
Advice to Senior Management
Overall, I enjoyed working for ajilon more than any other staffing company. The main thing that needs to be improved is the relationships with clients. Especially what the client's needs are and changes happening at the clients.
Pros
entrepeneurial
ability to make our own decisions and work cohesively
used to have a great team oriented, fun environment that rewarded staff and communication was effective
Cons
as the company became more corporate (the parent company was more involved) it has become all about number, results, doesnt care for employees, work/life balance or the general wellbeing of the employees.
Advice to Senior Management
get back to your roots- it was why you had such strong talent before. it was a great place to work..
Pros
I enjoyed working for Ajilon Finance. The placement staff was professional, direct and provided any information required to complete the assignment. I would recommend this employer to other candidates.
Cons
Lack of work due to the general downturn in the economy. No followup regarding current work status.
Advice to Senior Management
Contact employees for future work after completion of assignements.
Pros
they look for a job for you. but they only deal with temporary. this is a temp service recruiter who is just another agency
Cons
work is only temporary. you have to show your competent at the job site. Not to them. they call you when you already got job afterwards
Advice to Senior Management
Contract should be longer than just a 6 month or 1 year. after this, people are back to unemployeed again.
Pros
Great training, coworkers willing to help and give advice, good location, pretty decent reputation in the staffing world, good compensation structure (although I do know that has been changed and LOWERED since I left)
Cons
High anxiety environment. Expect to work everyday from 8-6 and to receive death stares if you attempt to take an hour for lunch. Expect to eat at your desk and take very few bathroom breaks during "call blocks". Expect to suffer through 2-3 "call blocks" everyday where you are reprimanded if you are not on a phone call or dialing EVERY MOMENT. Expect to wear suits everyday, to have someone looking over your shoulder or listening to your calls, and highly detailed metrics system. MANAGEMENT IS HORRIBLE. I can not say that enough. I was hired by an outstanding manager, she was fired during maternity leave, my VP left, everyone headed towards the door. The subsequent management was demeaning, insecure (and took it out on the tentured employees), petty, two-faced and laughable. HIGH MICROMANAGING ENVIRONMENT. Everyone I know has either left or been fired. They are a burn & churn hiring environment. Summary= BAD PLACE TO WORK.
Advice to Senior Management
The pettiness and personal negative feelings towards the employees is overwhelming. Stop management's attitude that they are the high and mighty manager with no faults and no ability to error. It is a direct reflection of your insecurity, and your need to see the green.
Pros
Great training. Good management. You run your own day.
Cons
A lot of needless documentation that does not necessarily results in profit.
Advice to Senior Management
Find the delicate balance between making note of the numbers but not getting to wrapped up in them.
Pros
In Indianapolis the senior management is outstanding. The Market Manager is an expert in the field and an outstanding mentor/teacher. The training the company provides is second to none.
Cons
Not a lot of Brand recognition in Indy
Advice to Senior Management
Need more advertising to compete with top competitiors.
