Pros
Pay, Health Plan, Fast Pace, Great Staff
Cons
Does not have a huge following in the U.S
Pros
no hassles from the manager
Cons
in the position that i was in there was no going up the ladder for a better position with the company
Advice to Senior Management
when someone within the company applies for a new position it would be nice to get back with them or follow up
Pros
Good Pay and benefits. Some nice people.
Cons
Little direction from management. Always cutting budgets. Reorganize every year or two. No long term commitment to brands. Great support for a brand one year and massive cutback the next with same sales expected. Math does not work. Matrix management model often confusing.
Advice to Senior Management
Pick a course and stay on it.
Pros
Benefits, respect for Employees, Not a lot of micro managing
Cons
Not a lot of advancement opportunities
Advice to Senior Management
Improve advancement opportunities
Pros
Massive company. Can have the strength of 800lb monster in the market if so chooses.
Cons
Marketing has a way to go, although better than what ICI was years ago. Very little chances for advancement.
Advice to Senior Management
Develop your employees, and provide growth opportunities. Look beyond the shallow pool of people that keep getting promoted, or the talent that is patiently waiting for opportunities will bolt soon as economy rebounds.
Pros
Great core values. Trying to become transparent, and is aware of significant changes that is needed to be made. Desire to do business with integrity. Great best for task products.
Cons
Falls short in executing core values, not just from employees but from upper management. Try to become transparent but falls short in gaining any trust. Invite curiosity to question, but rarely investigates further. Have not address major issues within organization's process of pipeline sales and forecasting. No true solutions to branding issues, and have created more brand confusion.
Advice to Senior Management
Become more consistent with your message and tone. An unpredictable leader is an untrustworthy leader. Review core values and be prepared to take accountability for own actions. Do not push blame and threaten.
Pros
There are some good people working for the company and benefits are decent, other than that dont bother, unless its a part time job for you as your in school. thank you
Cons
Too many to get into ..no pay..no respect
Advice to Senior Management
Show some respect
Pros
Good health plant that is above the average in the industry
Friendly people that makes a good atmosphere and also a great team
Cons
the facilities need to be updated to be still the leader in the paint market
they need to put more attention the people training
Advice to Senior Management
the facilities need to be updated to be still the leader in the paint market
they need to put more attention the people training
Pros
Always something to do, hardly ever bored.
Cons
Upper management seems reluctant to give stores support to perform essential store functions.
Pointless and frequent conference calls disrupt store functions.
Training programs inadequate.
Outside sales reps do not facilitate good working relationships with store staff.
You will be short staffed and constantly criticized by upper management because you cannot get the simplest things done.
Seems that upper management stack the deck against you...setting you up to fail customer expectations.
Advice to Senior Management
Listen to the stores when they tell you they need help. There are decent, hard working people that whose motivation has dwindled due to poor treatment.
Pros
good for working while in school and the pay is good if you are in that situation, sundays off, get to travel around a certain area if you are the delivery person
Cons
no real chance for advancement, how much money you generate depends on how many hours you work. store management is cool, but district managers are very difficult to deal with
Advice to Senior Management
listen to your employees, you can't expect things that are unrealistic. the current economic times makes it difficult to generate new business.
