    Pros

GREAT BENEFITS, GREAT 401 K matching. Good company.

    Cons

IT Growing pains. Worked in a group doing emerging technologies and infrastructure and it was a challenge. IT Staff were good, good attitude, but not used to working with emerging technologies and were on antiquated technologies. It was just as difficult for them as it was painful for us.

Salary for my position was good, but under market which is the reason I left. Also it was a challenge being out of state employee.

    Advice to Management

include out of state staff better and make sure they have growth opportunities to lead projects.

    Pros

Lots of opportunity for advancement, great pay and benefits. Inclusive, friendly, and casual company culture. Would recommend to anyone. A+

    Cons

Current fast rate of expansion makes it difficult for IT and operations to keep up with demand.

    Advice to Management

More mentorship programs and more in-depth personnel management training programs would be helpful.

    Pros

This is an awesome company in terms of it's benefits and the people you work with on a day to day basis. Great motivation and lots of room for growth!! Lots of incentives, bonuses (monthly and quarterly) and medical, dental, vision and 401K matching.

    Cons

There really isn't anything bad to say about this company. It is very sales driven in the branches but all in a very positive and motivating way ... It really has the members best interest in mind! If you like sales, you can go far!

    Pros

The benefits are good. The employees we work with are awesome for the most part.

    Cons

This was a great company to work for, however the current management team treat this like a personal forum, there micro management of the company has caused several problems, board members be aware, you will see more and more reviews like this.

    Advice to Management

Advise to the CEO, remove the current management team, hire people with heart compassion, the people in charge rule with heavy fists. This is America.

    Pros

ok salary and benefits. good place if you are not very technically strong and don't mind lots of drama.

    Cons

It is very badly managed, no career development. Hopeless supervisors with no accountability. There are many other places to work in Anchorage that would be a better choice for a technical person where you can grow your skills in a supportive environment.

    Advice to Management

Don't just leave supervisors to do whatever they want. Ask for feedback from the people they work for and listen to it so that you can better train supervisors. That way the credit union wouldn't have such a bad reputation and wouldn't get sued quite so often.

    Pros

Average pay the work required. Okay benefits.

    Cons

Unprofessional: management look out only for themselves. If you have strong moral value do not work there. They will tell you one thing: do what they say not what they do. They are full of emotional and unstable management working team. I will not recommend your money there if you have moral ethic value.

    Advice to Management

Professionalism is required. You need to stop play favoritism and make a judgment against others because of their high moral stand and their faith. Be fair with the schedule. Be open minded toward other culture and educated yourself for not all people are the same as your small town Bellingham. We are different in color, culture and we have faith: but not wiered.

    Pros

As a whole a great solid company.

    Cons

The employees they have allowed to advance within their branch administration department are poorly trained, unethical, deceitful and are pulling the wool over their managements eyes.

    Advice to Management

Train your Management and don't promote based on performance alone.

    Pros

The salary and benefits were good. Job security was also good due to nominal accountability. The retirement contributions were OK.

    Cons

No room for career growth based on work ethic and abilities. Poor leadership from CIO, senior management, and most middle management results in aimless, wasted efforts and badly implemented solutions with a general lack of caring. Nominal accountability. Dishonest management. Unmotivated, continually frustrated employees. If you are looking for an opportunity to learn new technology and grow your career then do not apply here. If you are looking for an opportunity to collect a paycheck at the expense of your skills deteriorating then apply here.

    Advice to Management

Be honest and straight forward with your employees. To reward their hard work you often need to work hard in return. When you only look out for your own career you do not look out for theirs.
