    Pros

Research groups an departments are very collaborative. Very good facilities. depending on you PI, postdocs can have a lot of support in there careers, but some PI do not help at all.

    Cons

They do not have good support for moms, no day care. Depending of your boss, posdocts do not have a good maternity leave support. 6 weeks.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Parking must be cheaper or free.

I have been working at Albert Einstein College of Medicine full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Flexible Hours. Great Atmosphere as most workers are students or Post-Docs. Most labs are relaxed and flexible on hours and responsibilities.

    Cons

Only Cons are pay and parking. As an academic facility, the pay isn't horrible but it will be somewhat less than industry and most of the funding issues means you don't get raises. Parking can be tough to find unless you want to pay 80$/month.
