    Pros

Benefits were great at the time I was there. People are very friendly and welcoming. Big company support, but small office feel.

    Cons

Jonesboro location is in a small-ish town. Nearest big city/airport is Memphis. Being a smaller office means less chance for promotion within the same office.

    I worked at Alberto-Culver full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Good company with "David vs. Goliath" mentality, nimble and competitive with much larger HBC multi-national companies.

    Cons

Limited career path for a small company. Should have retained Sally's as part of the company portfolio.

    I worked at Alberto-Culver full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Alberto Culver was as good a company to work for as you could have ever imagined right up until the day they sold to Unilever

    Cons

Simply too small to survive as a stand alone CPG company in today's environment

    Advice to Management

None---they did right by the company by selling and maximizing shareholder value---and they did quite well for themselves in the process
