    Pros

    Great work-life balance. Awesome and supportive employees who want to do the right thing and put the patient first. Faith based culture.

    Cons

    Lots of change and strategic initiatives without a lot of focus. Recently taken over by a new company that will have Alegent more financially focused than it has been in the past.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Continue to put the patients first and reduce their amount of employee stress through transparent conversations.

    Pros

    Lots of great doctors, nurses, technical staff. Very skilled and they care.

    Cons

    Management is horrible. They trashed CUMC. Utterly incompetent.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Time to make some decisions. This organization's lifespan is going to be very short with the level of incompetence demonstrated at CUMC. Methodist is ramping up its operations and you are soon going to get the reckoning you deserve.

    Pros

    Family environment, flexible PTO, decent technology. Decent pay for nursing and direct care providers only. Easy access to local upper management depending on location.

    Cons

    Don't let them know you are in the military if you want to be hired or move up. Salaries are low and performance raises are averaged and regardless of your evaluation you will receive the same raise as consistently low performers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Revamp the incentive program, implement programs to provide career development/progression for non-exempt employees. Implement a process to prevent hiring managers from discriminating against military National Guard and Reserve members. Create a Military liaison well versed in USERRA to address and solve disputes before they become a legal issue.

    Pros

    Great patient mix and convenient locations.

    Cons

    Totally micromanage everything! Way too many "leads" and managers. No autonomy. Physicians are made to feel like incompetent children who need to be constantly supervised and scrutinized. Horrible morale since CHI took over. They outsourced IT to India! Toxic administration!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Fire all the leads and middle management. Treat doctors with respect and let them do their jobs. Get rid of CHI!

    After CHI took over the a lot of good people left due to outsourcing and lack of opportunity to advance with supervisors being in other states.

    Some what flexible, OK benefits, promotion opportunities if you are white, expands via new constructions

    Cons

    No diversity; biased incompetent management ; do not get promoted based on talent or work accomplishments

    Not much except you get a paycheck.

    Cons

    Poor management. Back stabbing supervisor. Pay wasn't the best considering everything that was expected of you.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Hire back the great people you let go during your reorganizations.Learn people skills. Just don't pay lip service. Quit finding ways to get rid of your disabled and older workers. For being a faith based organization you sure don't show it by your actions.
