    This place is falling apart

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)
    San Jose, CA

ProsIncredibly people, competitive salary, stock price is on fire

ConsMarketing and Sales are a mess. Lack of focus or processes, everyone wants to be the king of their little castle, nobody works together. If you came from J&J you are fine, if you came from anywhere else or you have been there a while, then warm up your resume. Also, give up your nights and weekends, the family-oriented culture is gone, and now you have to pay to play 24/7.

Advice to Senior ManagementHow many executives do you need to replace before you figure out where the real problem is?

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Great Company but little flaws

    BI Engineer (Former Employee)
    San Jose, CA

ProsI was a consultant for reporting project for two months.

ConsI felt harassed by the testing team person , who had nothing to do with my work and he was much more interested in my job than his. I was uncomfortable working in that environment . I have heard they have hired consultants before me and fired due to lack of experience and when I was on board they treated me like I was a fresher of the boat. I am glad it was a short term project.

Advice to Senior ManagementPlease look into my situation and avoid such things happening to other consultants you bring on board. Not all are same.

Poor leadership and weak, top heavy management

    Management Sales (Current Employee)
    San Jose, CA

ProsEveryone will agree, product is great.
Good company if you need at least a year of management experience. Salary for middle management is average. If upper management is goal this is the place to be. Very high salaries and the good ole boy network that exists here will ensure you get paid and have a job and success is not a requirement.

ConsRecent hiring of too many upper management positions has created a top heavy, disorganized group with little to no vision and strategy to achieve goals- especially in the sales and marketing departments. They are a total mess and getting worse.

Advice to Senior ManagementThe only thing stopping this company is themselves. Upper managements has to justify their ridiculous high salaries with constant meddling with a great product. Everything they've touched in last 2 years has resulted in failure and what's left of middle management is all developing their exit plans. No leadership and no pathway to develop and grow in this company. Marketing department is a revolving door and sales is beyond stale and folks talking about moving out in a max exodus when competition appears in next year.

The company is a great way to build up your resumé, but I wouldn't plan to stay there as a permanent career choice.

    Warehouse Clerk (Former Employee)
    Carlstadt, NJ

ProsLots of ethnic diversity at work. Employees are from all over the world and helps provide oneself which cultural immersion from all over the world. Give you 401k, paid holidays etc.

ConsThey did not offer Tuition Reimbursement for college students. Conversation and understanding with other regional branches of the company, can get lost in translation.

Advice to Senior ManagementWorkers in Mexico need to be better emphasized on "quality" and "not quantity".
