Good intentions

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)
Durham, NC

I worked at All Kinds of Minds

Prosfabulous people, dedicated to children, very easy to work with

Consan incoherent message that ignores what they actually do, extraordinarily difficult to actual implement the work in schools and a senior leadership team that often seems completely out of touch with those charged with creating and delivering the content.

Advice to Senior ManagementWhen the feedback you get from participants repeatedly states how incredibly difficult the work is for participants, LISTEN!!

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

Mixed Results

I worked at All Kinds of Minds

ProsWonderful research-based information and learning strategies developed by very bright staff. Creative and caring professionals, for the most part. So much potential in the body of work this org. has developed.

ConsUnfortunately there have been waves of major downsizing over the past 3 years. Seem to be in part due to financial or fundraising issues and challenges with cash flow which resulted in delayed reimbursements and payments. Unpredictable trends and changes in direction happened for unknown reasons.

Advice to Senior ManagementSuggest that business approaches could be more logical and strategic. Also it would be good for senior staff to be more familiar with the work and training that facilitators are doing. Need to be more in touch with the realities classroom teachers face with NCLB.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
