Current Employee – been working at Allegiant Travel
Pros – The best part of working for Allegiant are the travel benefits. There are also some very talented individuals that work well with teams.
Cons – The pay , benefits (health, dental, PTO, etc.), and career opportunities are sub-par. The company itself does not invest in human resources nearly enough and expectations are unrealistic.
Advice to Senior Management – Take care of your employees far better so that you have longevity with your investment in people; this includes fair and accurate compensation.

Current Employee – been working at Allegiant Travel
Pros – Great work environment. Management is very approachable and open to suggestions and ideas. The company is very focused and results and office politics is minimal.
Cons – The salaries in Allegiant are well below average. Decisions in relation to personnel seem to take a tremendous amount of time and can get lost in the paperwork.
Advice to Senior Management – While you do a great job in moving the company forward, don't forget that the people who execute you decisions need to make a living.

Current Employee – been working at Allegiant Travel
Pros – The company itself is very stable which is always a plus. Also, you live in las vegas so that is always good too.
Cons – The pay is horrible and the company lacks appreciation towards it's employees. Things are getting better but the pay is just bad.
Advice to Senior Management – Increase the pay scale and pay people at least industry standard... WHen you make 20k less then someone else at another company doing the same job... something is wrong

Current Employee – been working at Allegiant Travel full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – None that I can think off. I will list out all the problems and this still will not be all.
Cons – Low pay
No raises unless you get a promotion
Small bonus
$24 a day per diem for travel.
No personal space. You are crammed into work pods or small table desks. Some have 6 people in a space smaller than your average cubes. When they hire more staff, they just cram you into smaller areas. Some desks are 2 feet deep by 4 feet wide. Just enough room for your computer and a phone.
Management is never there and when they are their directions contradict each other.
IT management is some of the worst you will ever encounter.
Health insurance is expensive and you only have one option.
Only 8 holidays per year.
No time off at all for first 6 months.
Only sick time off from 6-12 months.
They like to hire staff and treat them poorly knowing they will leave and it all starts over again.
Advice to Senior Management – Would not matter. They would have to care about the employees.

Current Employee – been working at Allegiant Travel
Pros – Travel benefits on other airlines (if full time)
Some good people
Profitable company in difficult economy
Plenty of parking for employees
Cons – As an employee you are of little value (but they don't try to hide it)
Unwilling to invest in any sort of culture
Some extremely useless employees to deal with
Advice to Senior Management – Invest in employees, the payoff will be worth it. Invest in talent, focus now and then on keeping them there.

Current Employee – been working at Allegiant Travel
Pros – Great Stability. Growing company with a good plan to be successful. lots of opportunity for better positions will come with addition of aircrafts and citys served.
Cons – Pay could be better. All employees seem to work hard, why not compensate them better according to industry standard. Trade off of stable work seems to win out amongst most

Current Employee – been working at Allegiant Travel
Pros – Allegiant seems like a very stable company, which is good in such a volatile industry. Also, the majority of management are very friendly and helpful.
Cons – If your trying to be a flight attendant and are doing it for the travel benefits, Allegiant is probably not the best place to go. While we do have several agreements with several companies, it still seems like some of the more main stream airlines get way more opportunities in this area.
Advice to Senior Management – I would say that senior management has been doing a great job so far, however I have seen a few incidents happen that have gone unpunished and I was very disappointed in that.
