Pros
Great people, really talented folks who care about what they do. A culture that cares about relationships and respects your home life as well as your work life. Opportunity is available if you choose to take it.
Cons
Business customers / partners are demanding to the point of being irrational. Frequent disrespect from business "partners" who assume that they know how corporate services should be performed despite lack of any real knowledge or experience in the field. Horribly understaffed and under financed services departments.
Advice to Senior Management
Reign in the the operating companies. Reduce throughput or increase staff and materials so that demand can be met. Be visible about plans to reduce the need for heroes while providing opportunity for advancement.
Pros
Great clients, interesting work, entrepreneurial environment, supportive management, good opportunity for career advance and really good team camaraderie!
Cons
Company is very large with lots of different business areas. It would be great if there was even more opportunity for interaction between the various operating companies.
Pros
Atmosphere, Corporate Culture, Loyalty, Management, Growth, Involved
Cons
pay, location, Benefits, Vacation time, organization
Advice to Senior Management
clearly define career advancement paths, also implement rotational programs
Pros
If you look at the staffing industry nowadays, it doesn't have the best of names. Allegis is one of the companies that actually has customer/consultant focus as a core value. Besides that, you develop a lot of professional and marketable skills while dealing with big and exciting customers and learn a lot about business politics. Great family feeling and good appraisal of performance and excellence. A company you can be proud of to work for.
Cons
Within the pro's lie a lot of cons as well. Besides the fact that commissions are quite poor, there is disregard for the employees by senior management in communication and back-office professionalism, a lot of this lack has to be compensated by the salespeople which derives them from their jobs and duties. Also commitment and agreements about processes are not met by senior management. You can notice that only people <30 work at the company, why? It's a good step-up that teaches you a lot about business and doing proper business, after that, you move on when you start to get aggravated by the lack of professionalism of the internal processes.
Advice to Senior Management
You have to put a dime in to get a quarter out, invest some of the royal budget to back-office processes, descent IT equipment and other resources to improve the quality of working, I don't like to go the hardware store in my private time to get bolts to fix my own chair, that goes for the keyboard for my computer too. Also the commissions are way under standard, I could make triple the money at some other recruitment companies.
Pros
many lines of business, management are young and very good looking, when they acquire new companies they leave them alone
Cons
one line of business is wholly ignorant of what other one is doing. no information is given. people are not a priority
Advice to Senior Management
i really dont have any. and i am sure they are happy with the way things are. why bother - it wont be listened to
Pros
- Good, well-respected company.
- Good wage
- Nice office
Cons
- Blatant favouritism
- Micromanaging - just let me get on with the job!
Pros

Can get tremendous exposure as it is a growing organization
Customer focused and performance driven org. If you perform, you can make money.
Cons
Work-life balance can get affected
Management should communicate more
The employee engagement should be more effective
Not too many diverse opportunities
Advice to Senior Management
Be more involved with the employees .
Put in place consistent processes.
Communicate better with all employees and be more visible .
Pros
Competitive workplace- keeps you on your toes, pro active approach to self development, great communication within leadership, everyone has an extremely strong work ethic, feedback rich environment - never guessing how you could do better.
Cons
You have to be a self starter, if you are waiting for someone to tell you what to do, look somewhere else to work. To some this may be a downside - others a great opportunity.
Advice to Senior Management
Some sister companies are growing fast, make sure to keep up with the general training of new employees. Sometimes its better to wait a week for someone to starts than have them start and be unprepaired on your end.

Cons
