I worked at Allegis Group full-time

    Pros

Bonuses and profit sharing awards were generous.

    Cons

Very stressful work environment. Favoritism is very rampant. Very few opportunities to advance ones career. Expected to make work number one priority in life. Even when there is a blizzard you are expected to either stay the night to work the next morning or risk your life driving in those conditions.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

None really. Managers were very poor at doing their jobs. Some of them should not have been managers in the first place.

I worked at Allegis Group full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Most people are great to work with
You will develop a strong work discipline
    Company is growing fast

    Cons

Very low pay - at bonus they will nickel and dime you!
    Expectations are never clear
Overworked and expected to work 70 hours on a 40 hour week.
Personal info shared with managers is used against you in end of year review
Development and Support are missing from leadership
    Boy's Club/Frat-boy menality - no inclusion

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Cut-out the boy's club and promote people who are not just your buddies. Diverisfy your talent. Pay your workers more. Be transparent.

I have been working at Allegis Group full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

    People are important!
    Values work/life balance.
    Encourages thinking "outside the box".

    Cons

    Executive leadership is somewhat conservative.
Not enough recognition for non-sales employees by executive leadership.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give more consideration to flexibility in benefits and bonus structure. A large portion of your employees is non-sales, needed to support the sales organization; too much focus on the rewards for sales personnel leaves the rest behind.

    Pros

Possibility of working with different RPO and MSP clients

    Cons

Senior management is not professional and does not respond to requests. Will just ignore you! Workload is unreasonable and turnover is high.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop hiring people with no experience

I have been working at Allegis Group

    Pros

Competitive workplace- keeps you on your toes, pro active approach to self development, great communication within leadership, everyone has an extremely strong work ethic, feedback rich environment - never guessing how you could do better.

    Cons

You have to be a self starter, if you are waiting for someone to tell you what to do, look somewhere else to work. To some this may be a downside - others a great opportunity.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Some sister companies are growing fast, make sure to keep up with the general training of new employees. Sometimes its better to wait a week for someone to starts than have them start and be unprepaired on your end.
