    Pros

Good group of colleagues to work with. Plenty of opportunities to advance. Competitive salaries and great benefits. Earning bonuses and profit sharing.

    Cons

Heavy work load sometimes because certain departments are short staffed. Some people are expected to carry more load than others. Health insurance could cover more for family.

    Pros

Company has great, hard working employees, good benefits package including generous PTO. Division heads are great to work for!

    Cons

Employees are not valued by Corporate Management. There is no trust in the employees or the Division heads and they are not treated as assets as they should be.

    Advice to Management

If something doesn't change, all valuable employees will leave (a lot already have). Start paying attention and actually deal with the real problems, the biggest one being in Corporate Management.

    Pros

Small, privately held company with big dreams
    Friendly, family oriented atmosphere
Willingness to invest to achieve growth

    Cons

Senior Management stuck in past success and failing to adjust to the realities of today and the future
Top Heavy organization with too much overhead and not enough folks rolling up their sleeves to "get it done."

    Advice to Management

Head the wake up call and get focused on core strengths and growth plays before it is too late.

    Pros

strong project managers on board but all will soon leave if CEO does not make the proper adjustments

    Cons

no future , they have not adjusted grow past small business set aside

    Advice to Management

get rid of inexperienced upper management i. e. president of the company and over all operations
they both lack the experience to run a construction company and most importantly lack the people skills to make the company successful Honor your employee benefits. One of your best superintendents passed away and because of a paper work glitch you chose not to pay out his life insurance

    Pros

Educated people, stability, diversity, great vacation policy, the people. Overall a good company to work for, sometimes growing pains are a struggle we have to deal with

    Cons

Consistency, accountability, commodity services. It is hard to differentiate our services from the competition. Diverse, but just as unstable as many AEC firms. They rely on the economy to grow.

    Advice to Management

Bring in someone who has successfully ran a large AEC firm. Buy talent, before the competition does. Innovate!
