Former Employee – worked at Alliance Global Services full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Reasonable work-life balance with ability to work remotely, etc. Compensation is fair, though bonuses are rarely, if ever, paid.
Cons – First let me say that John Castleman is the most incompetent CEO of any I've met. They have missed so many opportunities in the technology sector that the capital company who owns Alliance should have replaced him years ago. There's been very little growth and a constant shift to off-shoring, which results in low quality work being delivered to clients. Delivery consistently misses targets and has very little interaction with rank and file workers.
Advice to Senior Management – Discard the stale management that is in place today.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Current Employee – been working at Alliance Global Services
Pros – Decent work-life balance and flexible hours.
Cons – Poor senior management.
Cut-backs galore.
Office politics.
Lots of long-timers leaving is writing on the wall.
Low employee morale.
Stingy on salary and bonuses.
Zero career growth opportunities in the U.S.
"Old-timers" in management have made it a "stale" environment.
Advice to Senior Management – Communicate with employees more often. Listen to employee suggestions and include them in the process of business development. Perform review processes and award raises (and bonuses) to those who make their clients happy. Alliance should have higher revenues given their experience but senior management lacks the vision in going after new market initiatives.

Former Employee – worked at Alliance Global Services full-time for more than a year
Pros – They will tempt with good package without variable pay.
Cons – 1. No Support for newly joined. Micro managing, degrading new employees which really a place we will loose our values.
2. No proper project management. Managers are inefficient in terms of decision making, team support, providing good resources
3. Higher management plays cheap politics and never listens to the new employees
4. Very limited projects and clients which will not give scope to the employees
5. No single person gets apt roles based on their prior experience and all are under observation for more than 1 year
6. Finally it is a best place to ruin our career. They are hiring the employees from best brands and spoiling their career
Advice to Senior Management – Do not hire people from branded companies and spoil their careers with your cheap politics. After all we all are working to meet our liabilities not to torture our self and degrade our dignity.
Enforce proper policies to facilitate a good platform/ work place for the employees.

Current Employee – been working at Alliance Global Services full-time
Pros – More learning opportunities compared with some of the large consulting shops especially if you are working if one of the top clients of the company, Great employees at middle/lower management
Very client focused at the expense of employee morale.
Cons – The company has failed to grow in spite of some great talent who has remained loyal to the company. Wages have become noncompetitive. Old school command and control approach to managing employees especially offshore, Offshore team is expected to just follow commands from US employees, Late career (tenured) folks in upper management making it very difficult for new employees to make themselves heard resulting in very high turnover & layoffs at onshore for a small company.
Advice to Senior Management – Push back at unreasonable demands from clients. Most clients will respect the company more if you think through their demands and present more reasonable options. Take care of employees who do well. The same set of employees who schmooze with upper management seem to get recognized every year.
