I have been working at Allina Health

    Pros

They actually seem to care about what the employees think and are willing to act accordingly.

    Cons

Heavy favoritism to nurses as they are union and can make demands the rest of us can't.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Greater transperancy and awareness of what the lower payed employees make. Also need to get McDonalds out of Abbott

    I worked at Allina Health

    Pros

Part time employees are still offered great benefits.

    Cons

Administrative/Customer Service positions are not only looked at, but also treated as "Pee Ons"

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

My experience is working in Urgent Care only. Make sure the registration staff gets their breaks in a timely manner. I mainly got offered mine an hour before my sift ended and was still forced to punch out and take it. Don't favor the nursing staff.

I have been working at Allina Health

    Cons

only the typical cons of being a registered nurse-staffing, etc

I worked at Allina Health part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Easy interview. I did not have to drive far to get to work and I am so happy I am no longer an Allina employee!

    Cons

Easy interview and then came the disorganization. Management unclear what training is needed for new hires, took weeks to get computer clearance, email etc. Management was unable to give me my work schedule for the NEXT week! The posted job description was nothing as the actual job.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Clean house! If the new hires are getting poor and sloppy service, am I suppose to believe that your patients are getting any better?
