    Pros

If you apply yourself, willing to take on projects and moving within the company...you have growth opportunities. Very stable company. Great vacation benefits, work life balance was good

    Cons

Large company. Lots of bureaucracy and red tape. HR limits ones personal financial growth. Salary bands are so flat nowadays that one my only see 2-3 promotions in their career.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give employees more opportunities for promotions. It costs a company little, but promotes a healthy environment.

    Pros

Management is caring, benefits are very good, work life balance, everyone wants to help others succeed. Never thought people could be so nice. If you aren't making the grade they will give you every chance even offer a different position.

    Cons

Pay is below par/but benefit help compensate. High claim count, hard to manage. Whatever you do going in don't have any personal concerns. You will need ALL your focus.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire more to compensate when people move up.

I have been working at Allstate full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Pretty liberal and supportive environment, get to meet a lot of people

    Cons

There is a lot of servicing involved, not much training done by the company much of it is done in house and self training.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There should be more official training offered by management, that way much of the questions could be taken out of the equation and really could just focus on producing, rather than learning.
