    Pros

Pay is great as long as you are motivated by making money. Hitting your commission quotas is just part of it, the more you go above the goals, the better your paycheck becomes!

    Cons

There is a lot of drama within each store. The management seem to all have certain 'cliques' that exclude employees. The management will also do certain exceptions for themselves or their families/friends, but any employee below them never gets anything. Management is rarely in the stores, and when they are, they are playing on the internet and should be on the sales floor helping employees.

    Advice to Management

Store management and district management need to be more involved. Store managers play on their computers on facebook, craigslist, etc when they should be on the sales floor interacting with customers and or helping their employees. There are definite 'cliques' between management. When they have 'meetings' they will have posts on facebook hours later with pictures on everyone drinking alcoholic beverages, playing games, goofing off, etc. This is not a business meeting.

    Pros

Good benefits, pay was decent when sales quotas were met.

    Cons

Making quotas, long working hours. If you work in a kiosk location, work days can be slow and boring.

    Pros

    Currently there aren't any pros.

    Cons

Brown nosing is a must. If you're good at this, this is the job for you.

    Advice to Management

Be considerate of others. Consideration of what actually goes on in the work place is not known to superiors. Just corporate's ability to manage a business from their office unaware of what actually goes on or how it effects customers or employees

    Pros

It was great being part of a team. They always listened to us. Taught us core values and made sure we upheld them. It was a great place to work. Everyone was treated fairly and dealt with honestly.

    Cons

There were many levels in the company. It was hard to get to know others outside of your core business unit, however that did take place the more you moved up in the company.

    Advice to Management

The 360-degree review process was outstanding, however it might pay to re-evaulate your employees and do a skills assessment every 18 months or so. I was turned down for many jobs I was well qualified for as an internal applicant with no reason why.

    Pros

They make our government system look flawless.

    Cons

Idiot leadership, no structure, no organization, back-stabbing liars. This is not the real Alltel. Alltel closed in July 2009! What exists are a bunch of monkeys in suits and dresses pretending to run a business comprised of silly employees and 2 cans tied together with a string for a network. They are failures and they need to hand it over to people with real business skills instead of C.A.R.E university training. This company is a joke. Job hunters - keep it moving.

    Advice to Management

Fire yourselves, and get a college degree.
