Altedia Consultant in Paris (France): (Past Employee - 2007)

“a firm in flux”

Pros

Adequate location in central Paris. Interesting client portfolio.
Ongoing integration with Adecco group could open new opportunities further down the road.
Labour law reforms in France are also opening new avenues for the group.

Cons

Dull, unglamorous environment with few career development options.
Senoir management, is, well, really senior and could benefit from fresh insights and perspective. However this may change in the coming months since a significant chunk of the current management is to be phased out once the ongoing Adecco integration plan comes to fruition.

Advice to Senior Management

To focus on core business segments and not try to diversify by buying stakes in smaller, unrelated consulting firms, as was done in the past to no great effect.
