Pros
Pay is fair for the area
Co-Workers are fantastic on some floors
Cons
Management on some floors can act as bullies
Little recognition for hard work
Frequent nit-picking
VERY poor, frequently unsafe staffing
Low patient satisfaction rates due to poor staffing
Advice to Senior Management
This hospital has several issues but the biggest one is staffing. An RN taking up to 8 acutely ill patients alone with no aid or helper is ridiculous and unsafe... so don't ask your staff why your floor's satisfaction rating is down.
