Pros- Involvement in change
 - Make a difference in people's lives
 - Excellent internal corporate communication
 - Senior leadership is present with staff. They aren't just some taking heads.
 - Even younger staff are listened to. Everyone's view matters.

ConsSometimes there are too many bureaucratic barriers to staff accomplishing a specific task. Or managers aren't sometimes present in the moment and miss important information that needs to be communicated to staff about organizational change.

Advice to Senior ManagementDon't let personal views become obstacles that stand in the way of staff making positive changes for patients.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Former Employee – worked at Altru Health

ProsLots of open positions at all times and the ability to advance.
Advancement is typically from within.
There are education classes available.
Many locations within the region so there are options to move to the other locations.
Yearly evaluations with raises.
Paid time off accrues quickly.

ConsNo support from supervisors and there is never two sides to any story.
Vacation approval is on a seniority basis so you are heavily restricted on the time you can take off.
Supervisors are not on the floor so they are out of touch of the day to day problems.

Advice to Senior ManagementDon't be so quick to reprimand employees after hearing one side to a situation. Do research and ask about the other side of a situation before moving forward with a reprimand.
Be more involved with the day to day aspect of the business.
Be seen and hear open communication.
Treat everyone equally and fairly- regardless of title and position.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
