I have been working at AmWins Group, Inc. full-time

    Pros

The company works at creating a good atmosphere for employees overall. If you fall in with the existing culture, you will find that this is one of those companies where you can work hard and play hard without ever leaving your colleagues. Many perks and the opportunity to really establish connections with professionals in various stages of their professional career. If you make it your business to engage well, you will surely learn a lot about the industry and meet people you will want to have in your extended network. Great bonuses!

    Cons

The company should attempt to develop greater diversity in some of the offices. Women and people of color are not well represented in leadership roles.

I have been working at AmWins Group, Inc. full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Steady and solid place to work. Corporate tries to treat employees well with different opportunities. Best way to work here is to give in and drink the kool-aide.

    Cons

Completely Corporate America. The people training the upcoming brokers don't know insurance at all. They just have business degrees. The love of the industry is overshadowed with the "right way" of doing business on paper.
