    Pros

Amazon is one of the most innovative and involved companies I have ever seen. Many talented people fulfill many facets of the company and your experience here interesting nonetheless.

    Cons

Office politics is a major turn-off when I worked here. There was constant rub in your face of "i improved this aspect of operations, promote me!"

    Advice to Management

Prepare for your interns. My manager/supervisor was not ready for me since she was switching to a different department half way into my internship, I was not given a new person and left on my own. Moral in operations is the number one concern in all facilities I came into contact with, it is a difficult objective but solving this would help all other concerns such as meeting minimums, safety, etc.

    Pros

I have worked in every process in the building. Some jobs you walk a lot and some you're standing in spot .But overall it is a decide place to work.

    Cons

Communication of shifts changes and overtime needs to improve. The "leadership " turn over is nuts! Pay was OK when the building opened, but now the local job market is 20 times better.

    Advice to Management

A pay scale increase for all Associates from Tier I to Tier III's. If not I fear this building is going to fail.

    Pros

    Great health insurance.
    No dress code.
Flexibility with time off- as long as it's used right.
It is a pretty cool job for the right person.

    Cons

Security screening means you can't even wear a semi-nice watch or a fitbit or even carry your phone on you.
Management is a bureaucracy that is frustrating at times.
    Unreasonable expectations for picking rates.
Not flexible with injuries, especially to your feet.

    Advice to Management

Get real with the pick rates.

    Pros

You get to see really cool stuff that you never knew exsisted, everything from food to sex toys!
The co-workers are helpful. You can lose weight walking 15+ miles a day.
You can dress in casual comfy clothes. Training coaches are really good.

    Cons

Work you like an aniaml. Quotas are unrealistic. The layout of the picking areas could be so much easier to navigate if Amanzon would truly listen to the staff. Breaks start from as soon as you put your gun down. If you are on the third floor it can take your entire break to walk to the bathroom, use it and walk back....BREAK OVER! Department Assistants that tell you you're not picking enough are like robots. Walking 15+ miles a day is beyond tough on your feet and legs.

    Advice to Management

Instead of having such high turnover rate because you burn your pickers out, try evaluating realistic quotas for people who really want a chance at staying long term
