    Pros

Warehouse job has great pay with some nice benefits. They are aware that this job can get tough and they help you prep for careers in other areas if you choose to leave, but you have to be employed there for at least a year before the career benefits kick in.

    Cons

Location is the biggest con. This is why i couldn't stay. At this location, at least, there is no public transportation to get you there, but if you have a ride, it's worth it. Also the work can be hard, so get some comfortable shoes.

    Pros

The company is very fast pace so you do get to be motivated. There are cutting edge technologies. People are pretty sharp.

    Cons

Sometimes the impact you can make is limited, which is a common thing among giant companies. Depending on your team, you might have to spend a lot of time on bug fixes instead of adding bright and shiny features.

    Advice to Management

Managers are too busy to spend time on things that can help engineers to grow.

    Pros

Great benefits in terms of 401k, reserve stock units after 2 years of work, lots of opportunities for promotion from within after working for a reasonable amount of time. They give you way more personal paid time off as well as allow for a number of hours of unpaid time off, on top of all this is vacation time which accrues every paycheck. The managers and employees were all relatively nice.

    Cons

You have to be able to stand and/or walk swiftly for 10 hours. Some jobs require you to pick up and move 50 lbs or more boxes all day. Depending on where you work in the facility, the job can be physically demanding or not at all.

    Advice to Management

Let people do jobs they are especially good at, instead of rotating them to others for the sole sake of crosstraining.

    Pros

Great work environment where the majority of the associates are happy with their jobs and enjoy the work they do.

    Cons

In-house promotions are not very common due to few positions and their tendency to hire fresh college graduates.

    Advice to Management

Look to more of the in-house associates for promotion. There are many people that work in the various FCs that are dedicated to their communities. The majority of the managers, at my FC at least, are hired straight out of college from different states and transfer away after a few months. This does not build trust in the workforce and makes the associates bitter at their inexperienced managers.

    Pros

you will get lots of experience working with technology built with scalability in mind. In stills good working values like Customer Obsession.

    Cons

Even after you get hired your are always evaluated ageist the ever rising 'bar'. 'The bar' is the aver technical and leadership of your peers in the company. Basically if you are deemed to be worse off then 50% of your peers across the company you are in danger.

    Advice to Management

its hard to give general advice here because every group is managed mostly independently but I would said that focusing on the development of your engineers is important even if they are not sure of what direction they want to go. You lose a lot of good people simply because they are lost is the sea without the tools to navigate.
