Pros
established track record of the management teams. one of the leading commercial bank in malaysia and in depth client relationship establised.
Cons
lack of good IT and system in view of late in deploying major technology change. This will become a contsraint t be a regional bank.
Advice to Senior Management
to be more IT savvy and deploy IT project in a biger scale to address the need of future. Need more diversified team in handling clients
Pros
-very pace workflow, even urgency is treated with a tiny touch of speediness
-flexibility offered where you have all the access to k-based info
-passive environment:react only when asked. which eventually, you'll find more free time to learn something
-great communication between staffs. more like a govt body.
Cons
-politics.politics.politics
-incompetent senior management
-zero knowledge top management (on whatever their staff doing)
-slightly low salary (compared to other local banks), BUT with extra benefits
-a good talker have the best chair
-or an older people needs the chair the most.
Advice to Senior Management
-re-analyze all senior management/executive capabilities, and re-assign jobs. mostly they know nothing about protecting staff.
Pros
Average employee's benefits
slow work rate, low stress = you will live longer here
extremely long deadlines for projects even for those criticial, high priority projects
Cons
too many red tape for process and procedures and coupled with the slow work rate, it can make your life here very very boring.

please be more efficient

- The benefits are somewhat OK compared to others (not sure about other international banks)
- Some colleagues are extremely knowledgeable

- Management may not know what exactly what their directions are
- Salary compensation could be better for the amount of work allocated to employees
- Forget about work life balance

The management needs to work together and come together with clear directions of what they want the company to head to.
Pros
Good people, good support from your bosses. Friendly work environment. Bank is considered top tier investment bank in local banking industry
Cons
Not efficient, not aggresive and not reward performance enough. Also lack of investment in product knowledge, front office bankers often do not given enough resources to compete. Lack of risk appetide and new thinking within the senior management.
Advice to Senior Management
Spend more in attracting, training and preserving talents. Clearer KPI and fire those that do not perform without hesitation.

Good place to learn as you are exposed to various of areas if you are committed and dedicated
Cons
HR is not strong therefore staff welfare may not be taken very well care of.
