  1. My employer employed everyone through Ambrose. The employee is caught in the middle.

I worked at Ambrose Employer Group, LLC full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Easy for the employer to provide HR, benefits, etc. Allows for benefits that a small employer may not otherwise be abel to provide.

    Cons

The employee is always in middle - Ambrose says "its your employer" and your employer says "its Ambrose". The benefits are poor and the service attitude was basically "deal with it". Forces the employee to deal with a disinterested 3rd party company for things you think of as your company providing.

    Advice to Management

Treat all employees as though they really are your employees. Provide some feedback mechanism to help improve broken processes and poor service.

  2. Bad place to work

I have been working at Ambrose Employer Group, LLC full-time

    Pros

    - Employee population at Ambrose is very nice, (this does not include management) - Convenient work location

    Cons

-Employees are worked to the bone and set-up for failure with workloads that are far too large - Management is completely out of touch with their employees and unapproachable - Performance reviews are not based on performance but rather how 'friendly' you are with your manager - Extreme micromanagement - Vacation black out dates around holidays and new year - Horrible work/life balance

    Advice to Management

Any advice provided to management by the general employee population, is ignored.
