I have been working at Ambrose Employer Group, LLC full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Great job with opportunities to develop skills, get involved in projects, grow through a career ladder, be recognized for good work, team performance bonuses, fun culture, highly engaging, and more!

    Cons

The company was acquired by TriNet in 2013, so the future outlook is yet to be determined, but so far it seems like a good thing for everyone involved.

I have been working at Ambrose Employer Group, LLC full-time

    Pros

    - Employee population at Ambrose is very nice, (this does not include management)
    - Convenient work location

    Cons

-Employees are worked to the bone and set-up for failure with workloads that are far too large
    - Management is completely out of touch with their employees and unapproachable
    - Performance reviews are not based on performance but rather how 'friendly' you are with your manager
    - Extreme micromanagement
    - Vacation black out dates around holidays and new year
    - Horrible work/life balance

I worked at Ambrose Employer Group, LLC full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

The Coworkers are great, Management completely opposite

    Cons

    -TERRIBLE work/life balance
    - Compensation
-If you don't agree with your manager, don't say your ideas otherwise you can start looking for new job
    - They hire people with sponsoring visa because they are locked and they cannot say anything against, otherwise they will loose the visa and job
    - Core Values are only core for employees not Management
    - Performance review - nothing to do with your performance, if you are good friend with your manager, went for drinks together then your review will be excellent

I have been working at Ambrose Employer Group, LLC full-time

    Pros

-The people are great - note that this is NOT management, but the co-workers.

-The internal HR department is wonderful!

-They provide fairly rich benefits packages (although their 401(k) match is terrible)

    Cons

-They really push how great the culture is at Ambrose, but it is surface deep. Management clearly picks favorites and grooms them for promotions without considering the actual talent pool of employees. The environment is very "clique-y" and passive aggressive.

-TERRIBLE work/life balance. If you aren't working 55+ hours per week, you aren't working hard enough.

-Black out around the holidays and mid-summer for time off. Working Dec. 15 - January 15 is mandatory, which includes Christmas Eve, the day after Christmas, and New Years Eve.

-Extremely hypocritical. Upper management says that they support telecommuting, but employees are reprimanded for working from home more than a day or two per month.

I worked at Ambrose Employer Group, LLC

    Pros

The culture is the best part of the job -- Ambrose prides itself on having a "tribal" culture. Management actively tries to make the company a great place to work.

    Cons

Lack of structure -- Ambrose is a young and growing company. If you are someone who needs or thrives in organizational structure, this may not be the place for you.
