Pros
Very good benefits and employee oriented.
Loads of travel to different counties.
Known for amdocs brand for crm and billing solutions.

Do not have different business domain to explore your career options.
As a product company, you have very limited technical skill development.

Donot let mass recruitment spoil the culture that you have nurtured so far at Amdocs

free work culture, growth, freedom to work, creative thinking is promoted, strong team culture is nurtured, global exposure and talent diversity

I didnt find anything downside while working at amdocs.
But initiatives to improve the internal innovation and nurture the talent should be taken.
Advice to Senior Management
I really liked the open culture at amdocs and kind of interaction with higher management.
I think apart from setting goals and vision for the team, it is also essential to give direction to employees to achieve it effectively.

Pros
Great benefits, global reach, and dynamic industry are my three top reasons for working at Amdocs. Very well respected in BSS/OSS world and in Israel.
Cons
Very closed group of people (even more than most Israeli firms). Afraid of what they don't know and easily threatened by people coming from the "outside". Forward and strategic planning can't see beyond 3 mos. Typically, budgets are settled until 2Q, and then panic sets in a cuts/attrition happens. Lots of talent has departed in past two years, particularly in OSS and ACD.
Advice to Senior Management
Ask each person at Band 4 and above "what value do you add to this business?". When they can't answer within the first three minutes, show them the door.
Pros
solid managent focus and dedication to success. good care for their employees offering enough opportunities to advance in the company.
Cons
not as customer oriented as would be expected from a leading tech company - the primary focus gets more geared to winning at any cost.
Advice to Senior Management
create and foster a more open environment where communication and creativity can more easily flourish. ease the lines of communication from and to all levels.
Pros
1) Good Pay.
2) Fair number of Onsites (if you work for Asia Pacific projects).
3) Internal Amenities(mainly free breakfast and snacks & lunch costing Rs 20) are good.
Cons
1) No clarity on the project assignments working. It keeps changing dynamically and most of the blame should go to the managers who even don't know what will happen to the project next.
2) Work-Life Balance is severely hit(even you have to work on most of the weekends). That is the reason why they pay more at the cost of your personal life.
3) No new things to learn as there is no stability of working in single project for long term and you will be doing same monotonous work.
4) HR's are relatively new and have no proper knowledge to handle in this chaotic organization.
5) Personally I would say it's a place you can earn more but at the expense of one's personal life and learning and that is the main reason why max employees resign within 1 year.
Advice to Senior Management
Take the points from HR-employee discussion seriously and work on the Cons as it is easy to get new employee by paying more than market standards but difficult to get the knowledge what an old employee has acquired.

Compensation is fair and benefits average
Cons
with more missiles shot at you more internally than even from your clients, it's hard to make your clients successful when the arrogance of management and lack of respect for the individual is so overwhelming. Good luck to those who join.
