    ProsGood work life balance

    ConsPolitics
Doesn't matter how much you are good technically, but the person who is good in saying "Yes" to everything can grow very easily.

    Lots of promises, poor delivery

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) London, England (UK)

ProsPay and benefits are good, although pay rises are small. I was in a company acquired by Amdocs and existing perks were honoured.
Office environment good, with weekly fruit and delivery of snacks and small food items for staff.
Amdocs seem keen to adopt new technologies, so potential chances to expand skills and learn new things.
Amdocs offers training and online resources for learning

ConsAmdocs is a massive 22000 person bureaucratic monster. Initial promises of training and career progression ended in nothing. Expect endless email invitations to pointless town hall meetings. For an IT company with a large IT dept and a dedicated dept handling mergers and acquisitions, the integration of our company into theirs was a mess, and this was not a unique experience as I heard of other companies that had also suffered poor experiences. In one case, they bought a company without realising the company had their own software platform. Their IT systems are a mess. Our IT manager was moved into pre-sales and an expensive contractor hired to do the exact same job. They are overly paranoid about security but then make mistakes like linking staff to the wrong personnel systems in their records, exposing personal information. Management and control of resources, servers, etc is very Israel-centric.

Advice to Senior ManagementFollow through on promises of career development and training. Put more trust in external managers. Sort out the IT department. Stop spamming staff with pointless emails.

Great people, Good Human Relations and conditions, but uninteresting work

Software Developer (Current Employee) Tel Aviv-Yafo (Israel)

ProsGood conditions, fair salary, equal opportunity employer.
Allow employees to volunteer for different causes in return for partial salary.
They offer some online courses as well as physical classroom courses.
Allow employees to work from home if there is a special request by the employee (easy to approve).
Employees do not feel pressured to get their work done.

    ConsAdvancement is slow.
The business is in a very specific field, the billing field - and is not interesting. The job gets repetitive.
The tools in use are very old, and promoting tasks and code is slow and extremely bureaucratic.

My Job is in Sderot - there is no such option to select, so I chose Tel-Aviv.

Advice to Senior ManagementEmpower the developer.
Get rid of current infrastructure of production, in such a way that there is one team member or developer that will be in charge of promoting these kind of tasks.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
