    Cons

reading the same scrip over and over could get tiring. there's no incentive for someone to exceed sales expecations

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

encourage people to drive sales with commissions.

I hate it, but since all you have to have is a heartbeat to work, it's a decent job.

    Pros

This job is easy to get. In desperate times, it is better to have some job than none.

    Cons

The work is depressing and tedious. The workplace is cramped and loud. Must work evenings and weekends to make any money.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn manners. Treat people with respect.

Nice entry-level opportunity, but don't expect much beyond that.

    Pros

Many of the people who work at AGI are wonderful. It's a great company to work for if you're looking to start a career in sales and don't want to work at a fast food company to do so.

    Cons

The company views its employees as its main product. As such, AGI keeps its product (employees) as affordable to its customers (clients) as possible so don't expect to get paid much working for this company. Strong performers will be praised and occasionally promoted, but mid-level performers or poor performers will find their performance constantly scrutinized.

AGI delivers a pretty poor product to its clients and regularly relies on deception rather than improvement to meet its clients needs. Most of upper management has turned over since my tenure there (so things may not be the same as they were a few years ago) but the culture has to change for the company to turn around.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat your employees better and you'll get better results from them!

Could be a decent place to work if management were more consistent.

I worked at Americall Group part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

The company often has giveaways (random)
Company frequently gives awards like best salesperson or most improved
They have a free arcade with computers to work on during lunch breaks and after work
Not too difficult to get a job there

    Cons

There are no bonuses if you exceed sales quotas. No commission
If you don't reach quotas you will be sent home early and risk being fired
the pay is very low about minimum wage
No medical benefits of any kind

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Instead of spending $ on things like big screen tv's give employees a daily pay bump if they exceed their sales quota. A former employer I had gave us $1 an hour for each day we did this. Also if you do have a giveaway make it based on sales and not random. Finally treat employees with respect.
