Former Employee – worked at American Automobile Association (AAA)
Pros – Compensation was okay, I suppose.
Cons – Forced to work overtime and not compensated
Senior management had no idea about the working conditions in their department
Advice to Senior Management – Stop making employee's workloads so heavy they have to work overtime
Salaries are for a forty hour work week, not fifty

Current Employee – been working at American Automobile Association (AAA)
Pros – Great pay and great benefits
Great brand with a long standing reputation
Cons – Constant change in compensation
Disconnect with upper management and sales team
No support locally with marketing
Advice to Senior Management – Stop sending people over to run the operations when they have no clue what it's even like to sell there. They have never sold a policy in the state they are running.

Pros – The Insurance Benefits are alright, but that seems to be all there is that is a Pro for this company.
Cons – I could not recommend anyone working for this company.
Management cares nothing about the employees, stress is overwhelming.
Mico-management at it's finest.
Advice to Senior Management – There is no advise to give to management since it would do no good at all. It is there way or the highway. "Undercover Boss" might be a good suggestion for Mr. Darbelnet.

Former Employee – worked at American Automobile Association (AAA)
Pros – Benefits and generous time off.
Cons – Very little diversity. It's an old-boy's network as far as upper management is concerned.
Advice to Senior Management – Having all of your diversity in your call centers does not constitute corporate diversity.

Current Employee – been working at American Automobile Association (AAA)
Pros – health insurance it's the only thing that keeps me there
Cons – It is their policy to not give travel agents a raise no matter how long you work there, employees who do get the raise are given 15 to 25 cents per hour. Then they pay upper managment in the 6 figure brackett, and tell the frontline employee's that they can't have any more because they are a not for profit organization.
Advice to Senior Management – Start treating your frontline employees the same way you treat each other

Former Employee – worked at American Automobile Association (AAA)
Pros – once was a great place to be. flexible schedule. road service was the best place to be to help motorists
Cons – Very slow to react and make decisions. HR is a embarrassment. Too many different people going in different directions
Advice to Senior Management – You are chasing away all the good talent and retaining the poor performers. cut out the drama and get serious.

Former Employee – worked at American Automobile Association (AAA)
Pros – Excellent benefits, good pay, good work environment; most co-workers are great people. AAA is a well respected name, but it is not as well know as an insurance provider; more needs to be done to get the word out.
Cons – This is a great job if you can hang onto it. Seems terribly illogical to spend such enormous time & money training & licensing people from outside the industry only to have them give up before they really get started, or to let go of tenured agents who work hard to take care of the customers. Wasted resources!
Advice to Senior Management – Take a look around at the agents in your company; do you really know who is supporting your business, and who is just in it for themselves and all they can get out of the job? Too many good, hardworking people who did good work, took good care of clients, and did not make trouble have come & gone. Maybe you need to consider calling some of them back.
