    Pros

They work around your school schedule as much as possible. You learn a lot about marketing and the back end of things if you're willing. Very fun-filled and sociable environment with other CAs

    Cons

Working in a lower-end property makes the work hard, long and tedious. Had to make up for frequent management changes and lack of amenities.

    Pros

Nice work environment, good overall pay and benefits, half-day Fridays during summer, perks like free breakfast and coffee, proximity to shopping center good for lunch hour. People are friendly.

    Cons

Typical capitalist corporate culture, high-level employees leave office early while new employees work long hours. Poor management accountability, favoritism. Incumbents I worked with lacked professionalism and were more concerned about holding onto their positions then working together.

    Pros

Best company I have ever worked for. They listen to your opinion, always changing up systems to make them better and always want to do what's right for the customer.

    Cons

Always upgrading systems to make them better is great, but it does mean you have to adapt to change well. Some work durations are exhausting so you must love what you do and pay is not the top around but so many other perks that most enjoy even more.

    Advice to Management

Thanks for listening to our ideas on all those marketing calls, for helping make this company a great culture that I'm happy to be a part of and for the endless opportunities for growth. This is a great place to work!

    Pros

Great job to have while in school because of the discount in rent and flexibility

    Cons

Mix of personal and professional life because you tend to work in the same building you live in

    Pros

As a community assistant you get wear many hats, no day is the same. Definitely helps to learn new skills and gain experience

    Cons

    Management will micromanage you

    Advice to Management

Give your employees space to make mistakes and learn from them rather than micromanage

    Pros

You'll get to meet a lot of people in your community. Also, relatively a low stress job for the most part. Good management in my property and very flexible about working with your schedule.

    Cons

A lot of unexpected stuff that you got to do. Turn is rough, this is when current residents move out and the new ones move in.

    Advice to Management

Have a more clear job description about everything that is involved within the job. It's not fair when these kids also have a life and they sell you a job as a part time when you're actually working a full time.

    Pros

Great interaction with customers/residents. Open and spacious work environment. Good variety of daily tasks to keep work interesting.

    Cons

Upper management sometimes seems to have a short fuse. Not open to much suggestion as far as process and execution of tasks. Sometimes there's not much to do. Days are a little slow.

    Advice to Management

Ask more questions. See that what you're doing is having a positive affect on not only the customers but also those that work for you.
