the pay rate is ok,

alot of ppl dont do their job, and the ones that do are only there "temporary" which is diturbing because i do my job, and im good at it, but still will be laid off.

Advice to Senior Management

Administrators and Supervisors should have the choice of who gets laid off, and who keeps their job. granted the seionrty is ok, but like i said if your spending 8 hours sleeping or reading a book, your not doing the work expected of you, which leaves more work for the next shift. I work an 8 hour shift and most days i do more that the ppl who work 12 hours.

Pros

Decent pay and health insurance. Had an opportunity to advance within the company based on senority.

Cons

Currently locked out because the company won't negotiate with the unions. The schedule was terrible with very little time off. Rotating shift made it difficult to sleep.

Advice to Senior Management

Negotiate a fair contract with the union workers so we can get back to work.

Pros

Labor force are a good group of people who have many years of experience

Cons

Management allows issues to fester and then do not want to hear the truth. Also, management without fail treats all labor as if they were in kindergarten...

Take care of your workers and they will take care of you.
