American Express has reinvented itself many times in the past. They may be too card centric to survive a payment process game changer.

Recognize value and promote it. Way too many people in the company are being promoted based on talk rather then quality of work.

Amex is a great place to work, they truely value work life balence. you can work from home a few days a week, people respect your personal time. Management takes the time to talk with people, work hard play hard,
joined early this year and its one of the best places I have worked at
