Pros
Job security. As someone who is completely confident in my own skills and abilities, this company provides nothing but great opportunity. While the opportunities in a slower market are not as prevalent, I'm am looking forward to steady progress.
As far as the day to day grind, it couldn't be better. Workload is great, the customers are great. Each week brings new challenges and learning experiences.
Cons
There isn't much camaraderie. I'm used to meeting co-workers outside of work. No one associates with each other outside of work. I am still friends with people from previous jobs.
You have to motivate yourself, there are too many people that have just "settled in." I think it has rubbed off on some people.
Advice to Senior Management
Other than updating the office, everybody loves perks.
Pros
Independent contractor. Self Employed Status with good company support. Although one would need to be a self-starter; this company performs well on providing the tools needed to get up and going. Marketing options are good. Doesn't seem to be too much company employee turnover which helps on building relationships within the corp. Commission based pay seems balanced although I have little knowledge of other companies. They are becoming customer oriented which should ideally help their new mission and help retain current customer base.
Cons
Lack of clear communication within the organization. Old and Outdated technology hinders productivity along with an impression that, at times, the I.T.department runs this company instead of the company running their IT department.
Advice to Senior Management
We aren't on the same playing field -- to be able to give them advice about how to play a game of football when they only know softball....it wouldn't work to offer advice or feedback.
