    Pros

There is a lot of money to be made here, but you have to understand it is NOT a 9-5 and you will be working a lot of hours sometimes without seeing any pay for a week.

    Cons

The managers seem more interested in recruiting than in actually giving the "newer agents" the proper tools and training that are needed.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Spend more one on one time with new agents rather that bringing in new hires to build your recruiting bonuses.

    Pros

Nice upbeat office atmosphere, lots of helpful presentations from management.

    Cons

To much driving and gas; no protected territory. Good leads went to a select few; everyone else got trashy, old, reworked leads.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop pulling resumes from websites and lying to prospects looking for a "real" job. This "opportunity" is not only not for everybody, it's not for most people.

I have been working at American Income Life

    Pros

There can be very large commiossons if you play your cards right and know how to work the system.

    Cons

Because it's purely commisions there is a lot of pressure put on leads to deliver which in turn fosters and enviornment of harassment. Your customers don't trust you...at all.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Placing value on your employees as entire people rather than just what they can do for you would go a long way. It is understood that you make so much money that you don't have time for people who aren't ready to work hard, but people would work hard for you if they thought that you cared about them or your customers.

I have been working at American Income Life

    Pros

"Unlimited opportunity" in wages. A chance to make 1k in one day.

    Cons

Long hours. Sometimes you don't sell in a week or even a month and no base pay. So you work for free for nothing. Pressure from your upline to sell. If you're easily discouraged do not apply! This job is for the tough minded and opptimistic !

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat your people with respect and get in the car with them when they are struggling. They don't know what they need because they're new. Try encouraging them with support.
