    Wonderful enviroment to work in.

Maintenance Technician (Former Employee) Fort Irwin, CA

ProsCo-workers and customers are great to work with and provide an expansive pool of knowledge to help an individual grow in this field.

ConsManagement tends to promote based on personal relationships rather than on individual merit.

Advice to Senior ManagementFocus on promoting those whom are qualified and show a true desire to improve the service provided to ou military families. Leave personal agendas and friendships (family relationships) out of the decision making process when making these decisions.

Valuable product for the small to medium size private business owner

Regional Director (Former Employee) Orlando, FL

ProsTruly a much needed program for the struggling business owner who just can't seam to get ahead with the current way things are being done at his or her company. The product is something one who markets to the business owner can feel confident what they are selling is viable and the latest way to turn a profit, if only the owner will swallow their ego and let them HELP!

ConsGuaranteed 8-10 appointments a week doesn't happen? Real world 1 or 2 appointments a day or 5-7 a week. When you are told you will get 8-10 in order to sell 1. The math will add up every 2 weeks.
Don't provide a base salary, or not even a draw? You need to get 40 appointment a month in order to make a living by the company standards 4 sales a month. It's just not there?

Advice to Senior ManagementManagement needs to be more upfront with future prospects they are looking to bring on to market their program when recruiting.1) Guaranteed 8-10 appointments a week: If your going to tell them that they would receive 2-3 appointment a day or 8-10 a week, they need to stand behind that statement or they need to subsidize that person by paying them a salary minimum, if the company doesn't provide enough appointments. 2) Cold calling prospects: When making it mandatory to cold call while out, make sure that someone is following up with the Hot Prospects to get you out to see them ASAP!

    Good company

    Regional Director (Former Employee)

ProsGreat staff. Everyone is very helpful. They know the business and if you follow their steps you will do great. They do what they say they're going to do.

ConsNo base. Slow to pay (cut and mail physical checks).

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

I did not have a good experience this company sucks,

Business Coordinator (Current Employee) Orlando, FL

ProsThe only good thing about the company was that you dont work weekends.

ConsVery , Very, poor ethics, They lie to the business owners like its going out of style to get schedule an appointment. For example, when or if the business owner answers the phone they will lie and say " Do you Remember me " know that they have never spoke to this business owner before and the employees lie and say that they are from " England " and try to use an Englishmen type acent to their voice. Its sad.

Advice to Senior ManagementYou need to take some classes in Ethics. On the other hand just quit.

AMS, great company to work for.

Business Manager (Former Employee) Sheboygan, WI

ProsExcellent communication within the company and a strong sense of community within the company. Offered several opportunities to learn and advance my career in the property management field.

ConsThere is a great deal of reporting. I didn't mind because I find weekly analysis of the property to be an aid in the process of running the business. If you do not like reporting or reading reports or understand what your job is, then this isn't the place for you.

Advice to Senior ManagementI think the management has done a great job offering education and resources to their employees. This can only assist the company going forward. No matter how much people whine and complain about reporting, it is necessary. Without the system of checks and balances that are in place to ensure it is done many properties would likely fail.

    AMS constructive criticism

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) Orlando, FL

    ProsGood pay
Coworkers pretty professional for the most part
    Decent working conditions
    Nice holiday parties

    ConsManagement leads by intimidation
High Turnover - too much time spent training and hiring
Lack of professionalism at times by upper management
Disrespect for woman in management positions
People are treated like replaceable objects

Advice to Senior ManagementSince it's a management consulting firm, this company does not apply any of its advice to their own company. They need a suggestion box (anonymous of course).

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
