Pros
From a technical perspective, I learned alot. It is a great way to learn how to deal with a wide variety of people. The staff are a lot of fun. Due to the nature of the data that ARS works with, they have a large variety of high tech equipment and are small enough that IT staff are able to work with it directly.
Cons
The owners of the company have a bad reputation. Career growth is limited due to the small size and limited nature of the industry. The owners and CEO have questionable interest in the company, and seem more interested in padding their pockets. Upper level management outside of them though tend to be awesome and make for a great environment.
Advice to Senior Management
Either sell the company, or focus more on its growth. Stop bringing your personal lives into the company/making staff members part of your lives.
Pros
THERE ARE NO GOOD REASONS TO WORK FOR THIS COMPANY THE PAY SUCKS...
Cons
PAY, BAD MANAGEMENT , HIGH TURN OVERS ALL THE TIME, NO TEAMWORK EFFORT, BAD COMMUNICATION SKILLS TO EMPLOYEES AND CLIENTS.
Advice to Senior Management
HIRE BETTER MANAGEMENT TEAM, PROVIDE EQUAL PAY ,UNLESS THERE IS A BA OR A D INVOLVED, BETTER TEAMWORK ETHIC AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS FOR ALL FROM OPERATIONS OR DOWN TO THE CLIENT.
