I worked at American Seating full-time

    Pros

There are a few people that are enjoyable to work with, most want to do a good job but management stifles any improvement.

    Cons

Poorly run from the top down.
    Poor communication between VP's
    They reward incompetence.
Most of the management is 2 faced and are habitual liars, hard to know what is the truth and what is a lie.
Pay and benefits were pretty poor, but they don't expect much either.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Quit, the only way to turn the company around is to cut out the cancer and get new leaders involved.

    Pros

Not many, except even though the plant is mismanaged they seem to still make enough to keep afloat.

    Cons

Executives treat management like crap, they treat the hourly employees like crap.

I have been working at American Seating full-time

    Pros

Reasonable salary with typical benefits package. Newer office environment. In downtown Grand Rapids.

    Cons

Severely understaffed. Zero departmental support. Outdated systems create serious issues with deliverables. Zero training for the nonexistent systems and processes. Upper management is completely disconnected.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Research your departments. Work on a an updated internal structure
