    Pros

Good people, benefits. Challenging opportunities for both personal and professional growth.Lots of hard and rewarding work.Company is growing a lot and will continue to do so.

    Cons

Owners do not show much compassion, caring or concern for employees. They really do not care about the employees who are just numbers and cogs in the wheel.

    Advice to Management

Show more concern for employees. Treat them better. You need to pay more. You losing a LOT of your best employees and it will continue unless you change things.

    Pros

Quick turn around for getting hired on...if you're willing to work as a contractor with no paid time off and unpaid holidays.

    Cons

They tell you it'll be a temp to hire contract position but once you start you find it's 9-12 months before you'll potentially be hired and that's only if you suck up to the right people. Favoritism is a huge issue here. A lot of gossip.

    Advice to Management

Conflict of interest is being ignored and it's going to cost your company good employees. Start paying attention.

    Pros

They hired me very quickly. I was new to the area and happy to be picked up so quickly. A lot of my coworkers are friendly.

    Cons

Very gossipy. High turnover. Little room for growth and management is generally inflexible.

    Advice to Management

Think bigger, pay more, provide more opportunities for advancement.

    Pros

They give bonuses and cool Christmas gifts. Benefits are middle of the road but decent. Business departments have some really intelligent associates in upper management. Great location that is centrally located. Has demonstrated a well thoughtout business strategy for growth and maximum profitability.

    Cons

Do not share company profits and bonuses have very little to do with employee or company performance. Disorganized IT strategy that lacks focus. IT leadership is among the worst in my experiences. Expect extremely long hours and little time for family. They do not allow much work from home unless you have already put in 8 in the office. Very politically charged environment which is encouraged by Senior Management.

    Advice to Management

Allow more flexibility and provide more long term options for those putting in the time. Reward those who demonstrate loyalty to the company. Increase options for associates with families.

    Pros

Decent benefits (although this is changing - more cost put on employee within last year)
    Great December holiday party.
    Parking is paid for.
    Nice American Royal event.

    Cons

    Reactive and mercurial senior management.
Low pay compared to similar sized organizations.
Bonus program is very subjective, they should do away with it and just pay decent salaries.
Favoritism runs rampant - although it's not hidden - you definitely know who is in good graces with management.
When you leave, for whatever reason, the character assassination begins in earnest - very gossipy company.

    Nice Christmas party/other company events.

    Cons

    Poor Senior Management/Overall Leadership
Favortism and unequal treatment of associates
Lots of gossiping and talking about associates, particularly by HR and HR leadership

    Advice to Management

No advice. They aren't open to feedback anyway.

    Pros

Until recent layoffs, fairly stable work environment. Benefit structure is competitive. Family oriented company. Great place to start a career (entry level) or to be hired in at a senior level.

    Cons

Company has a pay for performance structure which gets in the way of productivity. The program is administered inconsistently among different areas. The salaries are notoriously low if you work your way up through the company.

    Advice to Management

Lose the pay for performance plan or find a qualified consulting firm to help in its administration. Work harder to recognize star performance where it counts - salaries.
