    Pros

The bonuses were nice when they were given fairly

    Cons

Too much nepotism and favoritism. Also, professional development is non existent. Do not work here if you actually have a degree.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do not become a manager if you do not have management skills.

I have been working at AmerisourceBergen full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Fair benefits are ok, not the greatest. They will sometimes stick out for employees, only if you meet ethnicity criteria.

    Cons

TERRIBLE COMPANY!!!!! I made a mistake to work there. company managers and compliance are predominately Caucasian and they will discriminate MHE personnel. Job offerings looks good on paper but the reality is that once on the job you will either become a enslaved and managers will find reasons to get rid of you if you don't perform.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Step out of your office and treat people with dignity and respect. Pay employees what they are worth and give MHE personnel a more dignified environment to work.

    Pros

    Great co-workers, ok work hours

    Cons

Hired for call center and made the job sound like it would be a great fit for me. Training was horrible, not enough training and constantly micro-managed. Treated like a child and constantly reprimanded. Company let all former customer care go to save money and should have kept other call centers. Customers highly irate and mad about change.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I worked at AmerisourceBergen full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Good benefits, relatively not stressful. Easy work. Lots of time off and paid holidays. People there can be welcoming if you stick around.

    Cons

Most everyone in manufacturing dislikes working there. Low pay. Long hours. Messed up schedule. Very high turnover rate. Many unclear policies and instruction. The work is very boring.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay your people more. They make your business happen. Focus on quality, then numbers. More incentive for loyal/good employees. Listen to the obvious signs of the high turnover rates. Refine your policies and procedures so employees know in detail what you expect of them.

I have been working at AmerisourceBergen

    Pros

Work place is nice. They have great soft drinks and hot beverages also.

    Cons

People are nice front of your face. You will earn rewards for the work you do, but when they don't need you they will say you have poor work performance your quality was bad. Make so many excuses. It would not be right to show them good performance certificate they given to you to prove them wrong. They like people with poor quality with high production.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I really hope management think twice before making such decisions. Its all about your company's reputation. After all its your company.

    Cons

Takes for ever for a full time position to be available

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pros

Pay was good, nice building. Central Industrial part of Ville Saint Laurent in Montreal.

    Cons

Work atmosphere toxic with old employees trying to poison the new hires and succeeding most of the time. One old employee told she had been there of almost 15 years and hated it????

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Survey what the older hires are telling the new hires and make a clean out of all the old guard, with negative attitudes.
