    Pros

Great benefits-sick days, comp time, 4013B Recent change in fundraising and event management, where a lot of the issues were Lots of employees who are lazy and complacent, just going through the motions

    Cons

CEO is concerned with his own image and advancement The glamour of the events gets more attention than the actual programs and the managers, researchers and administrators who run them

    Cons

disorganized systems redundancy in staffing too much emphasis on high end donors

    Advice to Management

amfAR has a great attitude toward work/life balance, but needs to do the following: Sort out systems. Empower staff. Reduce top-heavy staffing (reduce Sr. mgmt). Improve communication among depts.
