Current Employee – been working at Amgen full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Great people, culture, benefits. Beautiful campus, especially the newer buildings
Cons – Sometimes you get stuck working in areas that aren't exactly your first choice and sometimes its hard to get out of that position. Sometimes people are moved around to different groups and never get a good amount of experience in any one area due to the constant moving that is needed by the business.
Advice to Senior Management – Look at the history of employees and if their history with the company shows that they have been moved around a lot and you are about to move them, you should ask them if they want to move and maybe think about moving someone else so that the person may stay in a position for once, and get enough experience to do some good, especially if its someone who has already previously been moved around a lot.
